Being in Vegas is quite an ethereal experience for some especially when the rush of a win causes that tingling sensation that just makes you want to get up and dance. Case in point, a man who was quietly enjoying his time playing High-Limit Baccarat at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas suddenly decided to jump up on the table and start dancing. Unfortunately, this type of behavior which one would think is acceptable in Vegas was frowned upon by the Gaming Control Board who slapped Caesar’s with a $250,000 fine.
While $250,000 may not create a dent in Caesar’s profits, it’s just darn disappointing that you can’t dance on a game table in Vegas but according to the Gaming Control Board the complaint was made because the casino failed to stop the situation whereby protecting the other players in the area. The charge will not go to court and will lead to a settlement. According to the Las Vegas Sun, the player climbed up on his chair and onto the table placed a bet and then sat back down. The second and third time, he got up walked around and eventually began dancing.
Caesar’s will take full responsibility and pay the fine and it seems that they will need to hire more security guards to look out for those pesky casino table dancers.
