Rock & Rita's Helping Circus Circus Comeback

With Las Vegas, Nevada boasting city-sized resorts and pool parties seemingly at every strip casino it's tough to garner any interest in old-school spots like Circus Circus. But it looks like the Circus' new bar, Rock & Rita's, is doing its part.

Located inside Circus Circus, the new bar and restaurant celebrated its grand opening this holiday weekend with a built-in party bus and bar stools made of kegs.

"We created a fictitious couple, Rock and Rita," says David Z. Tuttleman, the bar’s co-owner.

What gives this new spot its charm is that its rewinding back to the days when bartenders used to flip bottles like Tom Cruise.

Twenty of the world’s flashiest bartenders work at Rock & Rita’s. On the touch video screen you can choose some eats, drinks, and get fully versed on every bartenders' history and awards along with short video clips of them performing their best bottle flipping tricks.

We're holding out hope that after a couple more flops Cruise himself can show us his throwback "Cocktails" tricks in this spot.
