After successfully taking on a career as the lead singer of the alternative rock band, The Killers, Brandon Flowers is thinking in retrospect as to how his life would have turned out without having embraced his life as a rock star. He thinks that he would still be working in his hometown of Las Vegas as a casino worker if it wasn’t for his lucky break.

Flowers joined The Killers in 2001 which brought together Brandon, Dave Keuning (guitar/vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci R. (drums) that created a hit band selling over 5 million albums including Hot Fuss and Sam’s Town.

Did Flowers regret leaving his casino job to become a rock star? I doubt it very much, although, he did mention how he really enjoyed his Vegas casino job. "It was exciting for me to work for tips and the hustle and bustle," he revealed.

"When I was 16 I was and my parents were living in another state. When I was that age, it was very fun... we all got our fake IDs and went through that.

"I guess it was good I got it out of my system."

Well just imagine everything he possibly could have witnessed working in a casino; Paris Hilton getting arrested, crazy parties and who knows what else. The Killers is currently on a break from touring for the past six years and are working on individual projects including Flower’s solo album Flamingo which is due for release next week.
