Adam Goldstein 'DJ AM' Dies of Drug Overdose

The body of Adam Goldstein, a celebrity disc jockey otherwise known as DJ AM was removed from his apartment building in New York on Friday after a drug overdose. Around 5pm on Friday, a male friend who hadn’t been able to reach him went to AMs apartment and when he looked through the window, he saw AM motionless on the floor. An Emergency team was called and DJ AM was pronounced dead upon their arrival. Drug paraphernalia including prescription pill bottles and a crack pipe were found in the apartment.
Radaronline reports that DJ AM had difficulty getting off pain pills after he was severly burned in a terrible plane crash that killed four other people. Both DJ AM and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker jumped out the door of the burning plane immediately after the small jet crashed in South Carolina.
