Adam Lambert rocked his first AMA stage tonight and all the conservative fogies quickly changed the channel when he took the stage. Really, his performance was no more shocking than Lady Gaga's bottle smashing antics. How about the time Britney Spears swapped spit with Madonna? Lambert really didn't push the envelope that much. Still, he gyrated his crotch, kissed one of his dancers on the lips, simulated oral sex - and perhaps alluded to some S&M, but this ain't stuff we haven't seen before, people. Lighten up.

Lambert sang "For Your Entertainment" from his upcoming album of that title and we at Bodog Beat must admit that his vocals took a bit of a back seat to his over-the-top attempt at shock value. However, Lambert wanted to shock. He wanted people to hate it. He wanted a performance that everyone would be talking about. Adam’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, hits stores tomorrow. Mission accomplished.
