To soften his suddenly tainted image, Adam Lambert brought his mom along for support while he performed on The Early Show after being booted off ABC's Good Morning America for a racy performance at the American Music Awards.

Lambert refused to apologize for his on-stage antics, which included exchanging spit with keyboard player Tommy Ratliff, as well as simulated oral sex. Lambert said that if kids saw the show, it's not his problem.

"It's up to the parent to watch the television, maybe TIVO it and watch it before your kids ... I'm not a babysitter, I’m a performer."

Adam also said, "I admit I did get carried away, but I don't see anything wrong with it," he said. "I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it."

Adam had previously told MTV that the kiss was impromptu - as he hadn't done it in rehearsals.

"During rehearsal, I grab him by the hair and kind of just looked at him," he said. Although Ratcliff is straight, Lambert said, "He just, I guess, didn't mind getting kissed in the name of entertainment on stage."

Lambert sang "What Do You Want From Me" and "Music Again" from his new album For Your Entertainment, which has already taken the number four spot on iTunes just one day after its release. After his second song, Lambert dropped the mic and ran outside to greet fans. Do you think Lambert owes America an apology? Will you be buying his album? Did you like Lambert's man-on-man action?
