Alec Baldwin Calls Daughter \"Thoughtless Little Pig\"

Apparently upset his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, was not around for a scheduled call, actor Alec Baldwin has found himself in hot water after lashing out to her in a message that was leaked to the Internet:
"You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being. I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone."

At one point Baldwin called his daughter - who is also the daughter of Baldwin's ex-wife Kim Basinger - a "rude, thoughtless little pig."
According to celebrity news website TMZ.com, the call was made on April 11.
Baldwin's spokesperson released a statement this week saying that the actor would "do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing ... keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order.
"The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order," the statement claimed. "Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."
Basinger's spokeswoman, meanwhile, said the tape "speaks for itself."
The couple was married in 1993, but in 2001 Basinger filed for divorce.
She was charged with contempt of court last fall for reportedly violating terms of a custody agreement reached in 2004. A motion to dismiss the charges was denied this week in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Another custody hearing is supposed to take place on May 4.
