Balloon Boy Announcement is Suggestion Box

Richard Heene, father of the infamous Balloon Boy, promised to reveal a big announcement this morning. Heene came out of his home at around 5:30 a.m. and told reporters, "I'm going to have a press conference out here at, let's say, 10 a.m. Okay? So it's a few more hours. So, I'd like to speak everybody about a few things. Okay? So, it's a big announcement."

Richard Heene followed through with his promise and appeared outside his home for the big reveal. In one of the biggest let-downs of all-time, Heene held out a box in front of reporters and said that it was for suggestions.

Heene spoke briefly, telling reporters that he doesn't have cable and therefore has no idea what people are saying about his family. Thus, he is installing a carboard box out in front of his house so people can ask questions and he'll answer them. He added that the great Balloon Boy incident was definitely not a hoax. Big pffft.

The Heene family has come under some public scrutiny after Falcon Heene, who was thought to be trapped in a giant helium balloon built by his father but was later found hiding in his attic, told Wolf Blitzer that they "did this all for the show."
