Balloon Boy Throws Up on Today Show

Balloon Boy might be an evil genius. (YouTube Videos)"]

Falcon Heene, otherwise known as Balloon Boy, captivated the world yesterday when it was thought he was aboard his dad's homemade helium balloon. For two hours, cameras and the world followed as the balloon aimlessly flew across the Colorado skies. When it finally touched down, six-year-old Falcon was not on board.

Three hours later, his parents at home sick with worry, were startled to see Falcon appear in front of them. The boy had apparently been hiding in the attic pouting after his father had scolded him earlier in the day.

However, last night on Larry King Live, Falcon said something that had people wondering whether the family - who had previously appeared on Wife Swap, had made the whole story up to get attention. On live television, Falcon told his parents, "You guys said that we did this for the show."

His dad said "Man," his mom adding "No."

If Falcon was bullshitting, he has really put his family through the wringer, as now there is public scrutiny as to whether or not the balloon boy saga is one big old publicity stunt. There may even be legal action too - as the police, who previously said they would foot the bill for the cost of all the resources spent tracking an empty balloon, now want to question the family further.

Then today, as if things couldn't get worse, Falcon puked on live national television as Today Show host Meredith Vieira was questioning Falcon's father, Richard Heene. Richard was telling Meredith that Falcon was referring to a time later in the day, when a news cameramen told Falcon they were recording that video footage "for a show." As he was explaining, Falcon asked his mother for a cup, then leaned over and vomitted while his brothers made "ewww" noises. In a nut shell, it must be hard to raise a Falcon!
