Best of Two Evils: Sole Custody Awarded to Kevin Federline

When we all breathe a sigh of relief that the guy pictured above is getting sole custody of two young children, something is wrong. However, the two-year custody battle over Sean Preston and Jayden James is finally over, with Kevin Federline winning sole custody.

According to the agreement, Federline gets sole legal and physical custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and Spears will have visitation rights.

"The case has been settled," Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan said. "The court still has to approve it."

However this deal wasn't exactly what Federline had set out to get.

"Kevins was not to get custody. Kevin's goal was to set up some kind of template so the mother of his children can coparent," Kaplan said.

But this is the structure he got, and "Kevin is absolutely delighted," Kaplan continued.
