In its theater debut Beverly Hills Chihuahua ran away with top honors at the box office, grossing just under $30M.

The story features a ritzy Chihuahua from Beverly Hills who gets lost while on vacation with her family in Mexico.

Drew Barrymore and George Lopez provide voices for the children's comedy.

Not far behind Chihuahua, was Shia LaBeouf's Eagle Eye at $17.7M

Rounding out the top three on the weekend was Michael Cera and Kat Dennings in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.

Coming in tenth on the weekend was Bill Maher in his religion documentary Religulous.
