Big Brother 8 Odds: Dick and Daniele Donato Win It All

"We did it! We did it! We did it! We won the whole thing!" Dick Donato screamed as he hopped around the Big Brother house after his guesswork proved better than his opponent's. The "whole thing" is $500,000. And the "we" includes his daughter, Daniele, a California Hooters waitress without much of a rack but with enough brains to move on up to say, Morton's or Spagos.

Dick's a bar manager and he's 44 and acts like he's 19 when he's in a mature mood. He'll blow his share of the money on blow, we predict. The Donatos entered the household having been estranged for six years because 20-year-old Daniele had borrowed money from her dad and not paid him back. She'll be able to afford it now.

Although a winner still has to be declared in the hit CBS show, it's only for ceremony at this point. The Donatos connived their way to a half-million by backstabbing, lying and cheating whenever it served their purpose this summer. Ruthlessness wins reality TV. You'd think more people would've figured that out by now.

Zach Swerdzewski had a chance to evict Daniele a couple of weeks ago when he won Power of Veto but he refused to do it, sealing his fate and everyone else's. Zach lost to Dick in a final Head of Household competition during Thursday's episode and was instantly evicted by the senior Donato.

The father and daughter made up their differences almost from the outset of the series then worked in tandem. As the field of contestants dwindled the odds of anyone other than a Donato remaining in the final two seemed slim. Now that it's happened, Tuesday's finale is guaranteed to be anti-climactic.

The last six housemates who were evicted will vote for the winner but the Beat's predicting Dick will let Daniele have the glory while he takes half the cash.
