Big Love Enters New Season

A post-Sopranos HBO hopes to intrigue viewers with its sophomore season of its polygamist drama, "Big Love," which is back for more marital strife and secret scandals. The show centers on the struggles of polygamist Bill Hendrickson (Bill Paxton) to balance the affections of his three wives -- first wife and leader of the pack Barbara (Jeanne Tripplehorn); wife No. 2 and shopaholic Nicki (Chloe Sevigny); and wife No. 3 Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin), the youngest.

Season one ended with the Hendrickson family exposed as polygamists, the “Mother of the Year” disaster and Barb's deep depression. Tonight, the Henricksons confront turmoil as thier polygamist lifestyles has hit the streets of suburbia.
