The following excerpt is from writer Rajveer Kathwadia, who attended the Bodog-hosted Wu-Tang Clan album release party Thursday night at the Amika nightclub in London, England:
"They haven’t released a full length studio album in nearly six years, with a fully attended group gig even further back in the memory, least of all on non-US soil; so it was with baited breath and (bordering on schoolgirl like) anticipation, that I awaited the greatest hip hop group of my time, the Wu-Tang Clan.
After nearly 15 years in the game would the Staten Island unit be able to bring the same energy they did a decade and a half ago when they dropped their classic debut Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers? The gathered masses at London’s Hammersmith Apollo certainly thought so.
And they weren’t disappointed as suddenly nine lyrical killer bees swarmed the stage to the grimy sounds of instant riot starter Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F’Wit. As the complete collective threw lyrical darts around the stage the venue erupted in a mass of flailing limbs, spilt drinks and resounding roars."

Drifting from front, back and side to side the Clan effortlessly complimented each other as they ran through a back catalogue of group and solo material that had the crowd hooked at every syllable. Clan In The Front, 7th Chamber, Bring Da Ruckus, Protect Ya Neck, It’s Yourz, Ice Cream… the list of classics is endless and the morning after promised a hall full of sore necks as craniums snapped up and down in time with every reverberating snare.
