Bodog.com Hosts ‘The LUCK Lounge' in LA

Bodog.com Founder & CEO Calvin Ayre looking pretty lucky
You know how some media events quickly turn into dull, schmoozy affairs? Well, that's exactly what Bodog.com successfully avoids when it throws an event. Bodog.com Founder & CEO Calvin Ayre hosted ‘The Luck Lounge,' a sexy poker night for movers and shakers in the LA media scene. The affair, held at the legendary Beverly Hills' Friar's Club, featured a 60's Vegas theme complete with burlesque dancers and a lounge singer.

Journalists from various media outlets squared off at the tables
But the real action was at the poker tables as players squared off from varying media outlets such as E!, Fox Sports, KTLA, Extra, MTV, Access Hollywood, the New York Post, People, USA Today, Rolling Stone, and Playboy to name a few.

Lady Luck made an appearance as well
Calvin Ayre was on hand to answer questions about Bodog.com's upcoming Las Vegas Bodog.com Poker & Sports Marketing Conference and Bodog's "Salute the Troops" event in Hawaii.

'Johnny Fayva' had some luck with the ladies...
The goal behind this particular event, though? To give the hard-working people in the media the VIP treatment for a change.

...but Bodog.com Founder & CEO Calvin Ayre got pretty lucky, too!
In typical Bodog.com style, the party went on until the wee hours (who knew reporters could party like rock stars?), and the smiles only widened as gorgeous Bodog.com chip sets were given to each guest on their way out.
