Although Britney Spears has made great strides in her quest to become a normal human being, apparently, the courts said that her work is not enough and have extended her conservatorship. There was no ruling on how long the conservatorship will be exteneded for, but lawyers seem to think it's anywhere from six months to one year.
TMZ is reporting that Under the ruling, Britney's father, Jamie Spears, will still manage Britney's life for the low, low price of $16K per month. Co-conservator Andrew Wallet was given a cool $174,569.10 payment for services rendered between July and November. The judge also ordered Britney to pay a whopping $300K in legal fees related to the conservatorship.
Britney is apparently covered by two conservatorships, one over her personal life and one over her business affairs. The conservatorship over her personal life is what is being extended while the conservatorship over her business is also continuing. Only Bodog has celebrity odds.
