Britney Spears' Son Hospitalized

Britney Spears' two-year-old son Jayden James was rushed to the hospital in Kentwood, Louisiana on Sunday after an allergic reaction.

"He had hives, was itchy and irritable," a source told People. No word on what caused the reaction but Jayden is "doing fine" after being kept overnight for observation.

It was Britney's first out-of-state trip since gaining back partial custody of her two children. Britney reportedly spent the night at the hospital with her son.

A statement on Britney's website says "Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."

There had been reports circulating that Jayden suffered a seizure, but apparently those reports were false. No word on whether Kevin Federline has heard the news yet, as calls to him by the Spears family had gone unanswered.
