Britney Spears Tests Positive for Amphetamines

When you're undergoing weekly court-ordered drug tests, it may be a good idea to put down the crack pipe. However, Britney Spears ignored that inner voice, and said "yes" to drugs. Is this all she could come up with? If she wants to shock us, perhaps she should shave her head or something. Oh, wait...

After Britney's drug test came back positive for amphetamines, Britney’s peeps went on damage control and tried to spin the failed drug test by saying that it was Provigil, a drug used to treat narcolepsy, which may have been detected. However, it has been found that Provigil would not show up on a court-ordered drug test unless they were specifically looking for it -- so the story changed and now, Britney's reps are saying that the drug that showed up may have been Albuterol, an asthma drug. It has been reported that Britney does not have asthma but she uses the inhalers as an appetite suppressant. However, neither drugs are considered amphetamines, the class of drug that showed up on her test.

A source close to the star says, "The only thing that comes on the results are the prescriptions, that the court doctor prescribed. Will this be the broken camel’s last straw?
