TMZ is reporting that Jett Travolta's cause of death was a fatal blow to the head, which he incurred when he hit   his head on the bathtub, toilet seat, or both. The theory is that 16-year-old Jett suffered a seizure, though it is unclear if Jett fell to the floor as a result of a seizure or if he had a seizure after falling or slipping.

The Travolta's were vacationing in the Bahamas at the time of the tragedy. A hotel manager was first on scene along with a family friend and the two of them administered CPR. John Travolta arrived shortly after and took over for a "substantial period of time was performing CPR and continued that until EMT came and took over."

A close friend of the family told TMZ that the pain of John Travolta and Kelly Preston is "unimaginable and unquantifiable."

It is believed that Jett was autistic, however John and Kelly, who adhere to the beliefs of the Church of Scientology, have denied this, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome.
