Celebrity Apprentice Debuts and Omarosa Proves She's a Loser

Leave it to Donald Trump to push reality TV to where it’s never gone before. On the debut of "Celebrity Apprentice," the stars lived up to their nicknames, and the Donald started to count the cash that’s sure to come in with ratings.
Gene Simmons looked very much like "The Animal;" Tito Ortiz lived up to the "Huntingon Beach Bad Boy" by bringing out girlfriend and porn star Jenna Jameson; Piers Morgan proved again that he’s the biggest wanker on TV; and Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth creeped and crawled her way to a fitting nickname: "The Cockroach."
After Trump split up the celebs up by gender, Omarosa took command of the women’s team with all the subtlety of a crocodile on a throat. She then made a fiasco of the lamest task ever on any reality TV show. Charged by the Donald to sell hot dogs in Manhattan, Omarosa couldn’t deal with the fact that the obvious course of action would make her look bad. If she used the celebrity of her teammates, she would stand out as the weak link, because, well, she really isn’t famous for anything but being loud, whiny and weird. If this was really real life, Omarosa wouldn’t have time to shut down her computer before she got escorted out of Trump Enterprises. But it’s reality TV and her plan not only went forward, it fizzled until supercool Marilu Henner started making phone calls.
In the mean time, Omarosa had already decided to throw Playboy playmate Tiffany Fallon to the wolves, who are Trump and his two kids. Henner’s contacts contributed $11,000 of the $17,000-and-change the ladies racked up. The men, meanwhile, sold more than $50,000 worth of hot dogs, because Simmons has the hottest address book since Heidi Fleiss.
All the cash went to Stephen Baldwin’s breast cancer charity, since he was the winning project manager for the week (and a low-key one too). Simmons correctly predicted that Fallon would be crushed by "The Cockroach," and that’s what happened.
Although Omarosa declared use of celebrity was a no-no, she blamed Fallon for not selling sex or contacting Hugh Heffner for cash. Trump said he agreed and fired the playmate. Go figure?
