Chris Brown Could Face Attempted Murder Charges

The Chris Brown slash Rihanna drama seems to get more and more crazy everyday. After the LAPD leaked a picture to TMZ of a bruised Rihanna shortly after Brown attacked, now E! is reporting that Brown could be charged with attempted murder.

The L.A. District Attorney is investigating Brown for a number of felonies, including domestic violence, assault resulting in great bodily injury and due to specific allegations made by Rihanna, attempted murder. At one point during the assault, Brown had told Rihanna, "I'm going to kill you," while his hands were around her neck. However, the source told E! that prosecutors fear that due to lack of witnesses, making any serious felony charges stick could prove difficult.

Numerous reports and rumors have been swirling that Rihanna wants to patch things up with Brown - however, those rumors were reported by Star. Brown released the statement that he was "sorry and saddened" by the incident.
