Singer Christina Aguilera had her son, Max, about a month ago, and she reveals to Female First that she was terrified about giving birth. She was reportedly so scared about pushing little Max out of her vagina that she opted for a Caesarean before she even went into labor.
"I'd heard some horror stories about tearing," the "Dirrty" singer told Female First. "I really wanted a calm and peaceful environment. I didn't want any surprises."
However, Aguilera reveals that her husband, Jordan Bratman, wasn't afraid at all and practiced his cinematography skills by capturing the entire birth on camera. "Jordan wasn't squeamish at all," Aguilera said. "He had the video camera ready to go."
Now, Aguilera and Max are happy at home. "We just can't stop staring at him," she said. "We study him, he studies us back. It's just an unbelievable experience, the whole journey. It's just a beautiful time in our lives."
Aguilera recently introduced little Max to the world by selling her photos to People magazine.
