"I'm going to have a Christie's auction," 42-year-old Courtney Love tells Spinner. " is like a mausoleum. My daughter doesn't need to inherit a giant hefty bag full of flannel fucking shirts ... A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to 'Teen Spirit' -- that's what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we'll just fucking sell."
Love went on to say that her friends are supportive of the idea. "Everyone's been positive and behind me on it," she says. "We'll make a lot of money and give a bunch of it to charity."
Love says that selling her late husband's belongings will help her to move on. “I still wear his pajamas to bed. How am I ever going to go form another relationship in my lifetime wearing Kurt’s pajamas?”
Courtney Love's forthcoming album, 'Nobody's Daughter,' is rumored to be dedicated to her life with Cobain, though Love insists the album is based on her life in general. "I think the title just says it all," Love explained to Spinner. "I'm not pouting. I'm not playing anything up. I don't have parents that I acknowledge. I'm nobody's daughter. I'm nobody's wife. I'm nobody's bitch. I'm nobody's daughter. I'm nobody's widow. I'm somebody's mother. Other than that, I don't identify with these other female roles I'm supposed to have."
