Cristian de la Fuente Injures Arm on 'Dancing with the Stars'

There was major trauma on the Dancing with the Stars set last night when Cristian de la Fuente and partner Cheryl Burke were performing their samba. At the end of the dance de la Fuente, a Chilean soap star, suddenly suffered a severe cramp in his arm. They finished the dance, but quickly cut to a commercial break. When they came back from commercial, the pair was judged on the performance up to the point of injury and earned a score of 21.

Reportedly, a studio EMT treated Fuente for what he identified as a “severe muscle cramp.” He was then rushed to the hospital.

“It hurts. It hurts the arm and it hurts that I couldn’t do it, you know, it’s tough,” Fuente told host Samantha Harris.

TMZ is reporting that the Dancing stint might be over for Cristian -- he is set to see a specialist this morning. Reportedly, producers and dancers will meet at the CBS lot at 10:00 a.m. for a status update.
