Dancing with the Stars, Double Duty

On Monday night, the "Dancing with the Stars" competition got twice as difficult as each of the celebrity contestants were required to perform two dances.
Highlights: Laila Ali and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced a quickstep that won rave reviews from the judges. Len Goodman said, "You turned up the gas. That had a lightness and a fluidity about it. A great quickstep." They earned 29 out of a possible 30 points. Showoff and wannabe funnyman Joey Fatone danced a foxtrot and a jive. For his foxtrot, Len said Joey had the ABCs: attitude, belief and confidence. He said, "You come out every week and give it your best shot. There was a little too much razzle dazzle for me." Bruno begged to differ, pointing out, "You are being difficult for the sake of it. This was dazzling. This was the king of Broadway."
Lowlights: Although former "Cheers" star turned author John Ratenzberger earned approval for his foxtrot and mambo, it's obvious that he's not in the same league as the other dancers -- except perhaps Billy Ray Cyrus. Billy Ray and Karina Smirnoff danced a stoic waltz. Billy Ray stood stagnant while Karina danced around him. Bruno said, "To call this waltz unconventional is an understatement. Talk about getting the woman to do all the work, you have to do as much as she does."
