Dave Matthews Band's LeRoi Moore Dies

Thousands of Dave Matthews Band fans are mourning. LeRoi Moore, the band's saxophonist, died on Tuesday in Los Angeles, Calif., due to complications after an ATV accident on June 30, reports People magazine.

Moore had suffered rib and lung injuries from the accident and had recently returned to his L.A. home to begin physical rehabilitation, only to return to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center due to complications.

However, the sold-out Dave Matthews Band shows scheduled for Tuesday night at the Staples Center in L.A. went on, with Dave Matthews paying tribute to the lost band member. "We all had some bad news today," Matthews said to the crowd after their first song. "Our good friend LeRoi Moore passed on and gave his ghost up today and we will miss him forever."
