National Enquirer is reporting that David Hasselhoff is currently detoxing at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in California after suffering a drinking relapse on Monday, Oct. 8.

"He looked awful when they brought him in," a close source told the National Enquirer. "His color was ashen. He felt sick. It was just so sad."

Hasselhoff's drinking problem became evident when a videotape of the 55-year old actor surfaced on the Internet, showing him lying on the floor and completely intoxicated. Even worse, the tape was shot by one of his daughters.

The "America's Got Talent" judge was awarded full custody of his two teenaged daughters back in June from ex-wife Pamela Bach. "He lives for his children, and it killed him that they had to see him so drunk," the source said. "He didn't know what he was doing."
