David Hasselhoff Placed Under Psychiatric Hold

After being found passed out, then suffering a seizure, David Hasselhoff has been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Hasselhoff apparently suffered a seizure after a three-day booze bender and was taken to the hospital. Now doctors have determined that the America's Got Talent judge should be placed under a 5150 and 5151, which will keep The Hoff under psychiatric evaluation for the next 72 hours.

Hasselhoff has been in a downward spiral with his boozing as of late - having been hospitalized following Simon Cowell's birthday party and showing up drunk to present an award at the European Music Awards. Sources close to ailing star say they hope this is hitting bottom for David and that it will lead to him being placed in a "lock-down rehab facility."
