Yes - Ellen DeGeneres has fallen, folks. The biggest upset at the Daytime 2009 Emmys was that the women of The View took the Emmy for Best Talk Show Host category, a title DeGeneres had taken for the last four years. However, this year it went to the ladies of The View, who were not on-hand to collect their statue.

The Bold and the Beautiful won its first Best Drama Series Emmy, and Guiding Light's Jeff Branson tied for the Best Supporting Actor award with Vincent Irizarry of All My Children. Best Acting honors went to Susan Haskell from One Live to Live for lead actress, Christian LeBlanc from The Young and the Restless for lead actor, and Tamara Braun from Days of Our Lives for supporting actress. Darin Brooks from Days of Our Lives and Julie Berman from General Hospital won the younger actor and actress Emmys.

Tyra Banks won for Best Talk Show: Informative, while Rachel Ray won for Best Talk Show: Entertainment. Meredith Vieira won for her job hosting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire while a Lifetime Achievement award went to Sesame Street.

There is still a whole lot of Emmy betting available in the Bodog Sportsbook. Be sure you bet before the live show - Sunday, September 20 at 8/7c on CBS.
