Did Jon Gosselin Ransack His Own Apartment?

Jon Gosselin, who has fallen off the front pages of the tabolids thanks to a philandering Tiger Woods as well as a Christmas Day terrorist, may have concocted a cheesy publicity stunt in order to get his name back in the press. Recently, Jon's New York apartment was ransacked and note was stuck to his dresser with a large butcher knife. Now, however, a source who spoke to Radaronline is saying that "The more cops have looked into it, the more they feel like it was a publicity stunt. They absolutely think the butcher knife part of it is B.S."

Jon's attorney  had previously told  TMZ  that when Jon entered his Manhattan apartment, he found his "shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings" had been slashed by a "sick perpetrator."

Gosselin has claimed that the ransacking is the work of his ex-girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, while Glassman claims that Jon, jealous over a photo of her kissing another man, pushed her against a wall and verbally abused her.
