Dog the Bounty Hunter Apologizes

Reality TV star Duane 'Dog' Chapman has publicly apologized for using a racial slur during a private phone conversation with his son.

As we all know, that phone call was recorded and put online by the National Enquirer.

Chapman, star of A&E’s Dog the Bounty Hunter, has now issued an apology for using the 'n' word six times during the phone call to his son, as he tried to convince him to break up with his black girlfriend.

The ex-con-turned-bounty-hunter declared: "My sincerest, heartfelt apologies go out to every person I have offended for my regrettable use of very inappropriate language. I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private phone conversation."

The bounty hunter also claimed that the recording had been taken out of context, saying: "I was disappointed in his choice of a friend, not due to her race, but her character. However, I should have never used that term."
