Dr. Murray Admits to Drugging Michael Jackson

We now know what happened to Michael Jackson - and it just seems like a combination of a drug-addicted star combined with a corrupt and negligent doctor was the cause of the terrible tragedy. TMZ is reporting that Dr. Conrad Murray himself told police that he did indeed administer Propofol via IV drip.

Without using the proper procedures, Dr. Murray may have fallen asleep and awoke hours later to find Jackson dead.

Murray failed to monitor Jackson via an EKG, which sounds an alarm when the patient's pulse drops too low. TMZ also reports that Murray administered the powerful drug without using a pulse oximeter, which sounds an alarm when a patient's breathing slows to a dangerous level. Propofol is used to induce unconsciousness in hospital patients before major surgery.

Jackson was regularly given the powerful drug to help him overcome insomnia. Police are seeking manslaughter charges against the cardiologist, who is hiding out in a swanky pad in the Nevada desert. Reportedly, Jackson paid him close to $150K monthly to "treat" him.
