Elizabeth Hurley Throws Peanuts at Hired Help

Elizabeth Hurley and her husband Arun Nayar, were sued by their former live-in maid, Violet d'Souza for "breach of contract, failure to supply a written statement of terms, race discrimination and unfair dismissal."

Brought to England from India by Nayar's family, 31-year-old d'Souza would reportedly often work from 7:30 a.m. and sometimes not finish until 3:00 a.m. d'Souza was going to take her case to an employment tribunal this Friday, but has dropped the claim after being offered a five-figure pay-off by Hurley and her husband.

Reportedly, d'Souza was fired after an argument.
