Elton John Helps Eminem Quit Drugs

Eminem is apparently getting off drugs with help from Elton John. The rapper, who was once controversial for making homophobic lyrics in his songs, is now getting help from Elton.

"I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly," said Elton.

Eminem went to rehab in  2005, in which he almost overdosed on methadone, but he relapsed and developed an addiction  where he was taking almost  20 Vicodin, Ambien and Valium a day.  Elton John has had his own issues with drugs, overcoming a cocaine addiction in the 1980s.  

Eminem  said in a recent interview: " had a substance-abuse problem in the past. So when I first wanted to get sober, I called him, because he's somebody in the business who can relate to the lifestyle and how hectic things can be. He understands the pressure and any other reasons that you wanna come up with for doing drugs.”
