Finally an amazing show has been recognized for its awesomeness. Dexter, a brilliant Showtime drama about a serial killer who kills serial killers, earned a nomination for outstanding drama, while its lead actor, Michael C. Hall scored a nomination for outstanding lead actor in a drama. Yeah, your Bodog Beat editors are totally biased. Go Dexter!

The AMC drama Mad Men led the Emmy race. The drama about 1960s advertising execs scored three major nominations: John Hamm for outstanding lead actor in a drama, John Slattery for outstanding supporting actor, and the show gets a nod for outstanding drama series.

Mary Louise Parker also earned a nomination for her role in another Showtime hit, Weeds. Lee Pace scored a nod for lead actor in the new series Pushing Daisies, while Steve Carell got nominated for lead actor for his work on The Office. Although his private life might be messy, Charlie Sheen's portrayal as a sharp-witted jingle writer on the CBS show Two and a Half Men won him an Emmy nomination.

HBO's Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm won nominations for best comedy series.

Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh both earned supporting actress nominations for Grey's Anatomy.

EW has the complete list of Emmy nominees. Who will win? Bodog will be offering odds soon.
