Emmys Set to Shine Sunday

Television’s annual celebration of itself, the Emmys, will be held this Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Ryan Seacrest has picked up hosting duties this year, taking over from previous hosts Conan O’Brien and Ellen DeGeneres. Known as the hardest working host in Hollywood, Seacrest will be pulling out all the stops as he attempts to keep viewers entertained during the three hour show.

The Sopranos is expected to take home its share of awards after wrapping up a six year run on HBO this summer. Actors James Gandolfini and Edie Falco are among the show’s 15 nominations.

Presenters for this year’s show include Patrick Dempsey, Sally Field, John Goodman, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Queen Latifah and many others.

Watch all the red carpet action starting at 6 pm live in front of the Shrine Auditorium and catch the awards at 8 pm.
