Etta James Slams Beyonce for Obama Serenade

Legendary singer Etta James has a bone to pick with Beyonce. James slammed Beyonce for serenading President Obama at his Presidential Inauguration with the tune she made famous, At Last.

"I tell you that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she gonna get her ass whupped," James told an audience at the Paramount Theatre, then sarcastically calling her "The great Beyonce."

But here's the rub: TMZ is reporting that At Last is a song Etta herself covered. Glenn Miller first released it 1941, followed by Nat King Cole in 1957. Etta's version came out in 1961 with Miller's version ranking higher on Billboard Pop charts than Etta's.
