Eva Longoria, star of TV drama 'Desperate Housewives' tied the knot with NBA star Tony Parker Friday in a civil ceremony in Paris.

The 32-year-old actess, outfitted in a short pink Chanel haute couture dress, said she was “hugely excited” as she made her way to the afternoon ceremony in a white stretch limo with a California license plate.

Parker, seven years her junior and starting guard for the San Antonio Spurs said he considers himself to be “the luckiest guy in the world."

Longoria gave a little wave to large crowds of well wishers before disappearing inside the ancient, gold stoned building to exchange vows before the city’s mayor, Bertrand Delanoe, and close family members.

One-and-a-half hours later the pair emerged as man and wife.

Because a civil ceremony is required by French law, the ceremony will be followed by an extravagant party at the Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte on Saturday, a 17th-century castle famed for its gardens and where the Kirsten Dunst film 'Marie Antoinette' was shot.

Longoria is expected to dress up as the former queen of France, who was eventually beheaded.
