George Clooney's Medical Records Compromised

Forty nosey hospital staffers at Palisades Medical Center were suspended without pay after it was found that they snooped through the confidential records of recent patient, George Clooney.

Clooney was admitted to the hospital on Sept. 21 after a motorcycle accident. The 46-year old actor and his actress/model/waitress girlfriend Sarah Larson were apparently passing a car on a narrow road when the car turned into them. Clooney suffered a broken rib and Larson broke her foot. The two were treated at a medical center and released.

The 40 staffers who went through the files include doctors, nurses and orderlies. No word as to whether the files have been leaked to the media.

However, the always affable George took the news lightly, telling the press, “This is the first I’ve heard of it. And while I very much believe in a patient’s right to privacy, I would hope that this could be settled without suspending medical workers.”
