Somebody call the waaahmbulance because 19-year-old Hayden Panettiere was "tortured," yes tortured in school!

Panettiere began acting in New York before she had even turned one. But alas, fame has its pitfalls. When Panettiere went to school in New York's Rockland County, her classmates treated her badly – and one even hit her, she says.

I was tortured, emotionally," Panettiere told Details for their August issue. "Every time I came back from filming, I would be trying to find my way back into a clique. And they weren't having it."
