The box office results are in and the award for highest grossing movie of the weekend belongs to Hellboy II: The Golden Army.

The Ron Perlman flick spearheaded a relatively quiet weekend with $35. 9M in its debut.

In second was Will Smith, Jason Bateman and Hancock with $33M. In just two weeks the tale of a disgruntled superhero has brought home $165M.

Brendan Fraser's Journey to the Center of the Earth generated $20.6M in its debut while WALL-E and Wanted followed suit in fourth and fifth respectively.

In just tenth place this weekend Indiana Jones brought home $2.25M but more impressive is the $310M it has collected since its May 22 launch.

And finally, whoever decided that making a movie featuring Eddie Murphy as an alien would be a good idea was sorely mistaken as the film limped it's way to just $5.3M in its initial weekend.
