Yes, another diva has made her way onto the "Sex and the City" set. Jennifer Hudson, who enjoyed critical acclaim after her role as "Effie" in the movie "Dreamgirls" won her an Oscar, suffered a backlash when the media dubbed her attitude and antics as ungrateful.
During her Oscar speech, when Hudson failed to thank "American Idol" (though God got His shout-out), she argued that thanks was not in order for the show that propelled her to stardom saying, "If I'd been any better at my job when I was at Burger King I wouldn't be here either, so should I thank them too?" Burger King responded by awarding the Dreamgirl free food for life…
Hudson also had to be scolded into attending the Soul Train Awards, where she received the Sammy Davis Jr. Entertainer of the Year Award.
Jennifer Hudson also criticized "Idol" and Simon Cowell, telling the media that she endured what she called an "abusive" experience on "American Idol."
"On American Idol, you go through this mental thing; you've got to get yourself back together. You've been abused, misled and brainwashed to believe whatever they want you to think," Hudson told Essence.
However, "Extra"called Jennifer's statements "the biggest lie ever" and aired footage of Hudson which showed Cowell calling Hudson "great" and "a frontrunner" multiple times.
Hudson should find herself at home amongst the divas of "Sex and the City." After reported bitchy antics between the four actresses, the long-awaited "Sex and the City"movie finally began production. Reports had been circulating that the movie was in limbo due to its dueling stars, but that finally Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall, (who had resisted negotiations), signed on the dotted line and production began on the film.
