The “Dukes of Hazard” hottie recently penned and pitched a book of poems and photography to several of the nation’s largest publishing houses. An inside source leaked the news that Jessica Simpson had worked hard on the book, but when her father-slash-manager Joe pitched it to a major publishing house, the book was ridiculed.

The insider told OK! magazine, "It was unreadable. Most of photography of rainbows and clouds were blurred and unprintable. It was a huge blow to Jessica, and she blames her dad.”

Although we'd like to say we obtained one of Jess' poems - we didn't, so we came up with our own Jessica Simpson inspired verse:

Thinking Out Loud

If tuna is chicken of the sea,
Does chicken taste like tuna to me?
Some bad smelling people say I'm dumb  
Pickles are icky
But potato chips are yum
