If you have a thing for watching people who have long-since deceased having sex, then you're in for a treat.

Vivid Entertainment is planning to release a sex tape starring none other than Jimi Hendrix. The 40-year-old, eleven-minute footage apparently stars Hendrix -- or someone who looks very much like him -- and two women.

Reportedly, Vivid has contacted some sort of sex tape specialist (paging Paris Hilton) to authenticate the film. However, the AP reports that the author of Hendrix's biography, Charles R. Cross, doesn't think the man in the tape is the real deal.

Cross told the AP: "This is somebody that looks like Jimi or is pretending to look like him, but it certainly didn't look like a dead-on match to me."
