John McCain talked to the women of The View today where he discussed separation of Church and State, Roe vs. Wade, and his experience as a POW.

McCain told Barbara Walters, "My experience in prison changed me from a person who was basically a person who was interested in self-glory and pride and a lot of things like that. My country changed. My view of my country and my and my role in life is/was dramatically changed to serve my country and a cause greater than my self interests."
