Johnny Depp is People's Sexiest Man Alive 2009

We at Bodog Beat are totally biased when it comes to actor Johnny Depp because he is awesome. Thus, we were thrilled to hear that Depp has been crowned People magazine's Sexist Man Alive.

Not only is Depp one sexy fella, but he is a great actor, picks interesting roles and keeps a low profile. He's also generous, recently tipping a waiter $4K. He also donated $2 million to the Great Ormond Street Hospital in England after they treated his eight-year-old daughter for kidney failure. Depp also invited all the doctors and nurses to the London premiere of Sweeney Todd and read stories to the hospital's patients dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. Depp is also a family man - with Vanessa Paradis for over ten years and having two children with her.

Depp took the crown of People's Sexist Man Alive in 2003 as well. They say, "At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15-year-old boots and as smoldering as his favorite Cuban cigars."
