Johnny Knoxville Brings Fake Grenade to LAX

Johnny Knoxville is either looking for publicity or just crazy dumb. The former jackass actually showed up to LAX with a fake grenade in his carry-on luggage.

TMZ reports that Knoxville was in terminal 4 when security screen personnel saw something suspicious. Airport security detained Knoxville, cited him for carrying a "prohibited item" into an airport and released him. (It is illegal to bring replicas of weapons on an airplane.) Apparently, Knoxville was able to make his flight.

Now, we're just sayin' but if someone who wasn't famous had a fake grenade in their carry-on, well, they'd be spending their days bent over at Guantánamo Bay.
