Since ditching his wife and eight kids, Jon Gosselin has been seen out on the town recently with some unsavory characters. First, there was college co-ed with a rap sheet, Hailey Glassman, then the fame-sniffing Star magazine reporter, Kate Major and now, Michael Lohan. Yes, folks, this is the latest celebrity relationship everyone is talking about. Jon and Lindsay Lohan's estranged famewhore of a father are BFFs - and they celebrated this weekend by hanging together in the Hamptons, where else?

Of course, always hungry to blab to the press, Michael opened up about his new buddy's personal life because he's an asshole like that.

Micheal told People, "He's fantastic and upbeat and said that he just wanted to concentrate on his kids and his career and his life," Lohan said. "It's overwhelming for him but he's handling it."

Lohan also told People that Jon isn't dating either of the girls he's been seen with - which kind of sucks for Kate Major, who quit her job at Star magazine in order to pursue a relationship with him. Michael also revealed that Jon hopes to remain close to his wife Kate.
