Jon Gosselin Calls Kate Abusive on 'Good Morning America'

Jon Gosselin taped a segment for Good Morning America today and revealed to the world that Kate Gosselin was rarely home and he "took a lot of abuse" during their marriage. The full interview is slated to air on Tuesday, September 8 at 10 p.m. ET on Primetime: Family Secrets.

"She'll call me like, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn't going anywhere," Gosselin told Good Morning America's Chris Cuomo.

Gosselin, 32, said he was often left home with the eight children while Kate went on book tours.

"Well, excuse me, I'm taking care of the kids. She's on book tours, she's doing all these things. You know, she's gone a week. You know, comes back. Packs up and leaves again," Gosselin said. "I'm standing there like, 'Oh, OK. Your mom's gone again.'"

Jon and Kate have had a stormy relationship of late - with the cops being called and Kate being escorted off their Pennsylvania property, and Jon playing the field with multiple women, one of whom is the daughter of Kate's plastic surgeon. Moreover, there have been rumors that because Jon is stuck in his contract with TLC for the reality show Jon and Kate Plus Eight, Jon has apparently been doing his best to piss them off so that he can get fired and star in his own reality show, Divorced Dad’s Club.
