This is healthy. And good for their children too. Jon Gosselin went on Good Morning America and bashed the mother of his eight children. True, she treated him like shit - in one episode even berating him for breathing - but to go on national television and tell the world that he "despises" her might be kind of tough on the kids. We're just sayin'.

"We film it separately," Gosselin said of the TLC show, Jon and Kate Plus Eight. "She has her film crew. And I have my film crew. But I can't sit on the sofa with that woman. I can't sit on someone right now that I despise."

When asked about Kate's alledged affair with her bodyguard Steve Neild, Jon said, "I speculate, but I don't know — that's a general feel. You know, almost like when they were traveling together, I felt jealous. Here, I'm Mr. Mom. And then there's some other guy traveling with my wife. Whether it's protection or not, it's all in — it's in the back of my mind."

Gosselin also says that he's cried more in the last eight months than he has in his whole life, which is difficult to believe when he's out on the town pimping Ed Hardy shirts and hanging out in bars with girls ten years his junior. And still, he wonders how he's gone from "America's favorite dad to dirt-bag."

On one hand, both Jon and Kate complain about being under media scrutiny and in the public eye - but on the other hand, they court the press in a bid to make more money. Moreover, there have been rumors that because Jon is stuck in his contract with TLC, Jon has apparently been doing his best to piss them off so that he can get fired and star in his own reality show, Divorced Dad’s Club.
